How can I prevent my puppy being scared of new things?
All puppies go through a stage where they are fearful of new situations and experiences. As an owner your job is to teach your pup how to react to these situations.
You should expose your puppy to as many new places, people, dogs, situations, children, sounds, smells as possible while he is still young so he can learn to react positively. If your puppy reacts in a fearful or negative way you should ignore him or try to distract him. If he reacts in a calm, positive way you should praise and reward him.
