Yorkshire Terrier Puppy

The Yorkshire Terrier puppy is a toy version of the terrier breeds. It has great strength of character and is a good watch dog.

Yorkshire Terriers originated in the mid 19th Century in Northern England. They were originally bred by working men who wanted a lively companion. From each litter the smallest dogs were selected for breeding to obtain the small breed we see today.

Yorkshire Terrier puppies and very small and will grow to around 3 kilos as an adult dog.

Their coat is long, fine and straight, requiring frequent grooming to prevent knots and tangles. Hair on the body and tail is dark and elsewhere is a tan colour.
