Shih Tzu Puppy

The Shih Tzu (pronounced 'shitzoo'), is an attractive puppy that was originally kept as a companion and watch dog in the Chinese imperial courts. It is named after an animal featured in Chinese mythology - The Lion Dog.

The Shih Tzu dog was originally introduced into the UK and the US in the 1930s and has become increasingly popular over recent years.

The Shih Tzu puppy has great charm and vitality. It has a very long coat which requires daily grooming and care and needs a moderate amount of exercise.

The breed will normally grow to around 26cm in height and comes in a variety of coat colours.
