Doberman Pinscher Puppy

The Doberman, or Doberman Pinscher, makes an excellent guard dog due to its agility and strength.

The Doberman was developed by Louis Doberman, who spent the final decades of the 1800s trying to develop his ideal breed of dog. The breed's origins include traits from that of the Rottweiler and shepherd dogs of Thuringia.

The Doberman needs a fair amount of exercise, although a puppy requires less than an adult, and full obedience training is best started as a puppy.

A fully grown adult dog grows to around 65-70cm. Its coat is short, requiring little in the way of grooming. Its coat colour is typically dark brown or black with some tan or white markings.
