Dalmation Puppy

Everyone knows what a Dalmation looks like and Dalmation puppies have become ever more popular due to the famous 101 Dalamations story and film. They are unmistakable with their white coat and black spots.

The Dalmation is a very old European breed, with the Pointer as one of its ancestors. In the 19th Century it was used as a carriage dog, to race alongside it, and even today Dalmations have the urge to run with vehicles.

Dalmations are lively, intelligent and cheerful and a good pet to have as a family dog.

They need plenty of exercise, though a puppy will require less until it is fully grown, and they don't like to be left alone for long periods of time.

A typical Dalmation will grow to be 56-61cm tall. Their coat is short and dense, requiring only moderate amounts of grooming.
