Cocker Spaniel Puppy
The family known as Spaniels dates back to around the 14th Century when Chaucer wrote about them in his Canterbury Tales. The cocker spaniels were originally bred to flush game and hunt. The Cocker Spaniel was Britain's most popular breed by the mid 1930s.
Cocker Spaniels are cheerful, fun loving and intelligent dogs and make a great companion.
The breed needs plenty of exercise, though a puppy will require less until it is fully grown. Regular grooming is needed.
Most cocker spaniel dogs will grow to be around 38-41cm tall and come in a variety of colours such as black and white and red.
