Chihuahua Puppy
The Chihuahua (pronounced Chiwahwah), is a type of toy dog breed. The exact origin of the Chihuahua is not known, though most agree that it came from South America.
One theory is that small dogs were fattened up and used for food and another is that they had religious significance. The first Chihuahuas reached America in the late 19th Century.
The Chihuahua makes an excellent show dog and a good companion and prefers to cohabit with the same breed of dog.
Chihuahuas are the smallest breed in the world, weighing up to 2.7kg. Both puppies and adults need little in terms of exercise and food.
