Border Collie Puppy

The Border Collie has the reputation as being one of the most intelligent type of breed of dog. It is a working dog and with obedience training as a puppy or an adult it can develop into a very well behaved dog.

Border Collies were originally bred in Scotland to be involved in herding animals on farms. Today the breed is gaining popularity away from the farm.

Border Collies can be excitable but make great companions and good family pets.

Border Collies need regular grooming due to their medium to long coats and will grow to be around 53cm in height. They require plenty of exercise as well as mental stimulation that can be found in obedience training and the like.
